HOW IT WORKS

Our community is parent-supported and built on shared involvement.

Families are expected to:

• Participate consistently (at least one weekly activity)

• Be present and aware during activities

• Step in and support when needed

• Contribute to a respectful environment

This is a community, not a service.

Membership

Standard Membership
$50 USD per year per family
Access to the private community, clubs, meetups, and events.

Some activities may have additional costs depending on instructors or materials.

Example:

FAQs

  • The membership fee helps cover all the essential background work that goes into keeping the community running smoothly — things like administration, back-and-forth communication with venues, negotiating and exploring new places and activities, interviewing and welcoming new families, and coordinating WhatsApp groups.

    Much of this work goes unseen, but it’s vital to making sure everything stays organized and accessible for families. Just as importantly, the fee creates a sense of shared commitment. By contributing, families show they are invested in showing up, participating, and being part of the community. This strengthens the group as a whole and helps us grow together in a meaningful way.

  • Membership gives your family access to:

    • Our private WhatsApp homeschool community chat

    • The monthly activity schedule (clubs, meetups, field trips, playdates)

    • Invitations to special trips, workshops, and events

    • A supportive network of homeschooling families living long-term in Da Nang

    Most activities are included, but some special workshops or field trips may have a small extra cost if supplies, venues, or outside teachers are needed.

  • This group is designed for families staying 1 year or more. If you’re here short-term, this community may not be the best fit.

  • Membership is application-based. Families can apply, and accepted families will receive next steps for joining the community.

  • We intentionally keep the community small and manageable to support real connection and consistency. In general, we plan to cap membership at around 20–25 families so activities remain relational, familiar, and well-organized.

  • Activities take place at a variety of locations depending on the activity, including homes, cafés, studios, outdoor spaces, and local venues around Da Nang. Specific locations are always shared in advance.

  • No. All activities are scheduled in advance.

    Families receive a monthly calendar at the beginning of each month with clear dates, times, and locations for all planned activities.

    That said, we do have a community chat where families may occasionally organize casual, spontaneous playdates or meet-ups. These are optional and informal, and separate from the scheduled calendar.

  • We offer a mix of weekly and monthly clubs.

    Weekly clubs rotate and may include:

    • Craft & Games

    • STEM

    • Cooking

    • Kidspreneur

    In addition, the following clubs run weekly:

    • Chess Club

    • Swimming

    • Taekwondo

    We also host Book Club once a month.

  • Most activities begin around 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM, though exact times are always confirmed on the monthly calendar.

How to Join

If you’d like to join our private, active homeschool community,

please start by completing the application form below

This is a participation-based community, not a drop-off program. Families are expected to attend at least one weekly activity and be involved in the community.

  1. Apply – Submit the application so we can ensure alignment in values and participation

  2. Application Review – If aligned, your family will be invited to the next step

  3. One-on-One Meet + Playdate – We’ll meet your family and have a playdate with the kids

  4. Trial Phase – Attend community activities to see if it’s a good fit

  5. Membership Setup – If it’s a good fit, you’ll receive a membership link ($50 USD/year per family)

  6. Community Access – Access to WhatsApp group, calendar, and events

Applications are reviewed based on alignment. Not all families will be accepted.
