Welcome to
Da Nang Homeschool Community
⭐️ Membership is by application only. Please scroll to the bottom of the page to apply.
This is a private, community-oriented group for homeschooling families living long-term in Da Nang, Vietnam.
We are a small and committed network of families—both expat and local—who value consistency, connection, and creative learning experiences. This group is not for tourists or short-term stays.
Private Homeschool vs Public Homeschool
Many homeschool groups operate like public homeschool spaces — open, rotating, and drop-in.
Those spaces can be great for casual connection, especially for short-term families or travelers.
Our community operates more like a private homeschool.
Public homeschool groups are typically:
• Open to anyone at any time
• Large and constantly changing
• Drop-in focused
• Event-based
• Low commitment
Our private homeschool community is:
• Application-based
• Intentionally small
• Designed for long-term families
• Consistency-focused
• Relationship-driven
Because families commit to the community, children benefit from:
• Familiar faces
• Deeper friendships
• Stronger group dynamics
• More meaningful learning experiences
This isn’t about exclusivity — it’s about protecting the culture, flow, and quality of the community for families who are building life in Da Nang.

FAQs
-
The membership fee helps cover all the essential background work that goes into keeping the community running smoothly — things like administration, back-and-forth communication with venues, negotiating and exploring new places and activities, interviewing and welcoming new families, and coordinating WhatsApp groups.
Much of this work goes unseen, but it’s vital to making sure everything stays organized and accessible for families. Just as importantly, the fee creates a sense of shared commitment. By contributing, families show they are invested in showing up, participating, and being part of the community. This strengthens the group as a whole and helps us grow together in a meaningful way.
-
Membership gives your family access to:
